My wife tested positive for Alzhiemer in late 2007 and by early 2008 was progressing so fast I was walking around in a daze. I contacted different organizations for information and guidance but recieved little. I don't even remember how I was referred to Brian Willie but he has been a godsend. He forwards information constantly and has helped me in making the right choices for my wife and although she is in an excellent nursing home and I miss her being at home with me (married 48 years) I am learning to deal with it and able to be there for my wife and myself. Brian Willie is truely a wonderful person and has great passion for others.

My mother was recently diagnosed with dementia. I didn't have any experience with this condition so I began searching the internet looking for information and answers to my questions. Fortunately, I found your website. I have learned so much from your articles. I share them with mom's caregiver and other members of my family. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and keep those articles coming.

I truly do appreciate the emailed information you have been sending. I run an Alzheimer's Caregivers Group and have printed many of these messages and make copies for my group. I sometimes base discussions around your letters.

Please keep them coming!

I am my husband's caregiver as he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease at the age of 58. I've received so much help from the internet, but especially from your frequent emails. As a result I am feeling very equipped to deal with all sides of care which includes seeking the counsel of a local Elder Law Attorney and contacting the VA Administration for Aid and Attendance. Thank you so much for your expertise and sharing it with those of us who don't know where to look for help!

Not only is the information from the Legal Resource Center helpful to me, a spouse dealing with AD for over 12 years, but I make copies and bring them to our support group meetings so others, without internet access, can share the practical advice and insights presented each week.

Thank You for the informative caregiver emails I have been receiving from you. The information is very helpful in caring for my 82 year old mother, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's eight years ago.

The articles are very informative, while remaining short, concise and to the point. This is helpful, as most caregivers struggle to find time to do anything outside the realm of absolutely necessary.

Because the information is so pertinent and helpful, I always take the few minutes necessary to read the articles, and often forward them to other's dealing with this situation.

Keep 'em coming, please!

As an estate planning and Medicaid planning attorney, I am grateful for Brian’s newsletters. I am finding more and more families that are being affected by Alzheimer’s Disease and the information has proved most helpful to me. I would recommend this newsletter to everyone that has any contact with Alzheimer patients.
